CAS 3775-73-3 (R)-3-Aminobutyric acid
β-Aminobutyric acid (BABA) is an isomer of the amino acid
aminobutyric acid with the chemical formula C4H9NO2. It has two
isomers, alpha-aminobutyric acid and gamma-aminobutyric acid
(GABA), a neurotransmitter in animals that is also found in plants,
where it may play a role in signalling. All three are
non-proteinogenic amino acids, not being found in proteins. BABA is
known for its ability to induce plant disease resistance, as well
as increased resistance to abiotic stresses, when applied to
Application: (R) -3-aminobutyric acid can be used as raw material for organic
synthesis and pharmaceutical intermediates in laboratory organic
synthesis and chemical pharmaceutical research and development.

(R)-3-Aminobutyric acid CAS:3775-73-3 is white powder. It is an
organic intermediate compound. It is an important intermediate of
Dolutegravir. Dolutegravir is a human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)
integrase inhibitor, the third in this class of agents that target
the viral integrase. Dolutegravir is used only in combination with
other antiretroviral agents in the treatment of HIV infection, and
it has had limited use.
Dolutegravir (DTG) is an antiretroviral medication used, together
with other medication, to treat HIV/AIDS.It may also be used, as
part of post exposure prophylaxis, to prevent HIV infection
following potential exposure.
